The remaining four stops in Pampanga, Cagayan de Oro, Bulacan and Iloilo are gearing up for the final set of Convergence 2009’s planned ten nationwide roadshows.

Convergence 2009, along with the roadshows in the ten Next Wave Cities (NWC) was launched last June 29 during the National ICT Month celebration.

The schedule for the last roadshow leg this November is as follows:

  • November 5-6 - Clark, Pampanga - Fontana Leisure Park Convention Center
  • November 12-13 – Cagayan de Oro - Pryce Plaza Hotel
  • November 19-20 – Bulacan - Centro Escolar University, Malolos
  • November 27-28 – Iloilo (venue to be announced)

As in all roadshow events, the National Computer Center (NCC) will spearhead the special track on eGovernance, which will feature the various Commission on ICT (CICT) eGovernment services, including the eLGU Project, eSerbisyo (government e-services portal), eBayad (a project which makes available government e-payment facilities and infrastructure), and the Philippine Community eCenter (CeC) program.

Aside from the eGovernance track, the roadshow will also include Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) job caravan sessions, career assessments, job fairs and various other tracks and sessions.
