"Above all, Cita has become recognized by her peers as a leader, which shows that the ability of women in farming must never be underestimated. Despite the agro-ecological condition of her farm, she was able to transform it to a veritable farm that easily serves as a model in increasing the productivity of farms in adverse environments."

I came across this quote after reading an interesting success story from the website of one of our partners, the Open Academy for Philippine Agriculture (OpAPA). One of the benefits of the Internet is the efficient and effective way of broadcasting your message to a vast number of people, in the simplest way possible. The Internet has an enormous amount of publications added on it every day and it’s becoming one of our most powerful sources of information.

This article from the OpAPA website is entitled "This Lady is a Progressive Farmer" .  I hope this lady's story will encourage you to find ways to improve your livelihood.
