The members of the Philippine Community eCenter Network (PhilCeCNet) Executive Council celebrated the Christmas season with a simple Mongolian Barbecue party last December 16, 2009. Ms. Yvonne G. Flores, PhilCeCNet Treasurer, opened her humble home at the Teacher’s Village in Quezon City to the holiday celebration.

Present during the celebrations were CICT Commissioner and NCC Director General Timoteo Diaz de Rivera, NCC-Field Operations Office Director Maria Teresa M. Camba, PhilCeCNet Chair Dr. Angelo Juan O. Ramos , Jimmy Calata, Carol Destacamento, and Cheryl Ortega.

The get-together of familiar folks and faces set off the ambience for a joyous night of merry-making for the yuletide season. The guests gamely participated in two of the prepared games for the party: the popular TV game “Pinoy Henyo”, followed by the “Continue the Lyrics” game, patterned after a famous television show. The crowd gamely participated in the party activities.

The affair sealed this year’s many challenges and successes of the network while reminding us of the child within us and our awaiting of the coming of the child Jesus.
