To accommodate more entry submissions from the field, the Philippine Community eCenter Program Management Office (PhilCeC PMO) has deemed it appropriate to extend the deadline for submission of accomplished nominations to the 1st Philippine CeC Excellence Awards.

In response to the wide clamor for a deadline extension, the PhilCeC PMO has fixed the submission deadline to February 28, 2010.

Note that the search is open to all CeC initiatives (e.g. eSkwela, Farmers Information and Technology Services or FITS, Tulay, etc) and CeC knowledge workers currently active in the Philippines.

For each category (CeC Category and CeC Knowledge Worker Category), four finalists and one grand winner will be selected by the panel of judges who will be appointed by the PhilCeC PMO.
