telecentre.org and the Centre for Science, Development and Media Studies (CSDMS) have conceptualised a book on "1,000 Ideas to Make Telecentres Work" which used to be a very popular section of Telecentre Magazine. The book will serve as a valuable resource and guide on the best practices in the telecentre (locally branded as "Community eCenter" or "CeC") domain and distributed across telecentre networks worldwide.

Telecentre or CeC practitioners are invited to take part in this global initiative by contributing ideas and stories for the book which may be submitted using a prescribed template. Contributors are also requested to send at least five high resolution pictures to accompany the story.

For stories to be included into the book, it is important that the ideas are actually being implemented on the ground. All contributions (story and photos) should be sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
