The Asian Institute of Journalism and Communication (AIJC), with the Department of Health (DOH) Region VIII, recently completed the inventory of public domain information focusing on health emergency and disaster management. The project, supported by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), aims to provide health emergency managers and workers quick access to “readily usable knowledge and information on health emergencies”. The database can be found at the AIJC website. It will also be uploaded soon in the DOH-Region VIII website. (Source: Liza Azarcon, AIJC) |
