Del Carmen CeC to host learning sessions for local government employees

Through the joint effort of LGU Del Carmen and Surigao State College of Technology (SNCST) – Del Carmen Campus, the CeC Del Carmen will host a series of ICT learning batches for local government employees.
The activity officially began last February with 10 participants receiving instructions and hands-on experience on basic computer exercises.
The SNCST will provide the following: (1) the workforce under the Information Technology Division with the cooperation of IT students to design and handle the project; (2) module to all participants; (3) conduct, monitor and evaluate the progress of the extension program.
On the other hand, the LGU Del Carmen, together with the Del Carmen CeC, will provide assistance to SNCST as to the pre-implementation phase until its completion; provide data on the status of computer literacy status of the participants; provides the quality service on Information Technology; encourage the LGU Employees to participate the training; provides office supplies, meals, accommodation and certificates to the facilitators and participants after the program implementation.
